Mental Health Champions – Foundation programme

Get a deeper understanding of mental health with this training course from Place2Be, offered free to qualified teachers and school staff.

This training course improves teaching professionals' understanding of children’s mental health, and introduces approaches towards positive wellbeing in schools and communities.

The course lasts for five weeks, and covers four areas:

  1. Understanding mental health & wellbeing
  2. Nature and nurture 
  3. How can I help?
  4. Mental health: everybody’s business

 

Using this resource

This resource is designed for use by:

  • school staff

To be eligible to access the training for free, you need to have UK QTS, be an NQT or have a permanent role in-school.

You will need to book onto a specific date to take part in this training.

Please note that because this training are so extensive, they have not been fully quality-assured by our team. Place2Be is a trusted source for content with its own quality assurance process, and the training is CPDUK-certified, so we have still included it.
