Anti-Bullying Week 2021: primary school pack
A resource pack designed to help primary schools to celebrate and take part in 2021's Anti-Bullying Week.
Anti-Bullying Week 2021 is taking place from Monday 15th to Friday 19th November 2021. The week is run by the Anti-Bullying Alliance, and this year's theme is 'one kind word'.
The Anti-Bullying Alliance have created this resource pack for primary schools, to help schools mark the week and educate pupils about bullying.
The resource pack includes:
- an assembly plan
- a lesson plan
- cross-curricular activities
- other activity suggestions.
The outcomes for the lesson and assembly are that pupils will:
- know what bullying is
- understand the school ethos about how we treat each other
- understand how they can safely support other children if they are being bullied
- understand that kindness is important and can affect our lives for the good
- know how to report bullying in your school
Using this resource
This resource is designed for:
- use with children aged 7 to 11, but can be adapted for use with younger children
- use with whole classes or whole assembly groups
