The official primary school pack for Anti-Bullying Week, which includes a lesson plan, assembly plan, poster and more.

This resource belongs to the resource hub for classroom and wellbeing support.

Anti-Bullying Week takes place this year from Monday 14th November to Friday 19th November.

The week is organised by the Anti-Bullying Alliance, and this year's theme is 'reach out' – encouraging everyone to come together and reach out to others to stop bullying.

This free resource pack from the Anti-Bullying Alliance includes:

  • a primary school film 
  • a lesson plan
  • an assembly plan
  • cross-curricular activities 
  • ideas to help you bring Anti-Bullying Week to life 
  • handouts and PowerPoint presentations 
  • an Anti-Bullying Week school poster 

Using this resource

This resource pack is designed for:

  • use with primary school pupils aged 7 and up

Pupils should know:

•  that healthy friendships are positive and welcoming towards others, and do not make others feel lonely or excluded

Respectful relationships

Pupils should know:

• about different types of bullying (including cyberbullying), the impact of bullying, responsibilities of bystanders (primarily reporting bullying to an adult) and how to get help
