Coercive control lesson plan
This lesson from BBC Teach is designed for use with students over 15, and explores the topic of coercive control and controlling relationships.
Coercive control is a pattern of behaviour by an abuser to harm, punish or frighten their victim.
In this lesson, students will watch a drama about a relationship between two young people, split into five parts. As the drama progresses, the characters' behaviour changes, and students will be asked to analyse each part, sharing their thoughts.
