Creating an LGBTQI+ inclusive curriculum
Guidance for Scottish schools on how to include LGBTQI+ voices and identities in the classroom.
This resource provides suggestions as to how to make the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence a more inclusive and representative one of members of the LGBTQI+ community.
The resource is split into each of the curriculum areas, with suggestions for each one on how to make the subject more LGBTQI+ inclusive. It also lays out relevant experiences and outcomes for each curriculum area.
The resource's purpose is to support teachers in incorporating LGBTQI+ voices into existing topic areas and normalising expressions of LGBTQI+ identity across the curriculum.

- use by staff with responsibility for curriculum design
