LGBTQI+ mental health
Following survey of and workshops with LGBTQIA+ young people, the Anna Freud Centre has created a free resource to support LGTBQIA+ young people’s mental health.

This resource, designed for young people aged 14 and up, explores some important topics in relation to being a member of the LGBTQIA+ community.
It also provides advice for LGBTQIA+ young people on where to go to get additional support for mental health problems should they arise.
The resource covers different topics like:
- coming out
- common challenges for LGBTQIA+ people
- trans and non-binary young people
- intersex young people
Using this resource
This resource is designed for:
- use by young people aged 13 and up
- use by individual young people
