Yoga
Yoga targeted support programmes can include yoga sessions, breath work and relaxation techniques.
Yoga consists of a mixture of physical postures, breathing exercises, and mindfulness practices that aim to enhance physical and mental wellbeing.
It emphasises the importance of balance, flexibility, and inner calm, and offers tools for stress management and self-awareness.
Yoga targeted support programmes integrate elements of holistic therapy. They aim to help children and young people to understand their thoughts and feelings, develop coping strategies, and increase their confidence in self-regulating emotions and behaviours.
