Schools are in a unique position to shape and influence the mental health and wellbeing of their pupils and to help prepare them for the opportunities and challenges ahead.

This section includes a number of lesson plans, assembly plans, programmes and PSHE resources to support and assist in teaching and learning about mental health and wellbeing. It also includes an introduction to social and emotional skills: essential life skills that promote children’s ability to cope, resolve conflict, and manage their thoughts, feelings, behaviour and their friendships.
