A multi-agency approach to suicide prevention

A free webinar providing practical guidance on developing a multi-agency approach to suicide prevention.

This one-hour long webinar outlines how education settings can best support students at risk of suicide as well as how to educate students on this topic.

Staff will learn how to recognise some of the signs of poor mental health in children and young people. The webinar seeks to help staff understand how to respond to students who may be experiencing suicidal thoughts.

It provides signposting to a number of external organisations and highlights how education settings could work with support services around this topic. It also contextualises the issue, with important facts and statistics on suicide across the UK and globally.

This webinar is CPD accredited and attendees are emailed their certificate after completion. The content has been informed by a robust evidence-base and the trainer has previously worked with Papyrus and Young Minds, amongst other organisations.
