About this resource
This resource helps staff understand and respond to the mental health needs of people from marginalised and diverse communities. It builds confidence in recognising the experiences of both learners and colleagues.
It explains how different parts of a person’s identity, such as race, gender or background. can combine to shape their wellbeing and sense of belonging. These factors can also increase the risk of exclusion for some learners and staff.
