Supporting each other in grief and offering comfort in times of mourning

A free webinar aiming to support education settings through a period of collective mourning.

This 20-minute long webinar helps to build upon education staff’s knowledge of how to understand and support grief in students.

During the webinar, the physical responses to grief are discussed and the theme of normalising these feelings is carried throughout. It provides useful ideas around how to mark and support grief in education settings.

The webinar emphasises the importance of community and working with parents and carers to help with this.

A mental health lead could use this webinar to help them consider their setting’s culture around grief and how they could support students with this going forwards.

It should be noted that whilst this resource includes some references to Queen Elizabeth II’s death, most of the content is still relevant.

This webinar is CPD accredited and attendees are emailed their certificate after completion.
