This resource is designed to help staff and parents and carers support children and young people develop healthy sleeping habits.

It contains practical advice and tips for helping children and young people achieve and maintain good sleep hygiene. It covers topics such as phone usage, evening routines, and the importance of prioritising sleep.

You may wish to share this guidance for staff as well to send it to parents and carers.

  • use by mental health leads working with students aged 5 to 19.
  • use by staff working in primary schools, secondary schools, colleges (sixth form and FE) and special schools.
