Whole school or college approach (WSCA) measurement toolkit
A toolkit to help settings monitor and measure the impact of their whole-school or college approach.
This toolkit is designed to support settings to monitor and measure the effectiveness of their whole-school or college approach to mental health and wellbeing.
It contains two tools – the Implementation Self-Assessment Tool (ISAT) and the Outcomes Self-Assessment Tool (OSAT) - to help settings assess the impact of their approach.
These tools can support settings to track their progress, as well as to develop and refine their whole-school or college approach over time.
Using this resource
This resource is designed for:
- use by mental health leads working with students aged 5 to 19.
Learning outcomes
This resource addresses the following learning outcomes:
- Create a plan to develop, implement and sustain a whole school or college approach to mental health and wellbeing, tailored to their setting’s needs.
- Sustain and continually improve the approach in their setting, working effectively with peers and support networks.
- Monitor the impact of a whole school or college approach in their setting.
