Teaching for neurodiversity: guide for educators
Guidance for educators on different forms of neurodiversity and how they may present in the classroom.
This booklet contains a brief overview of the most commonly occurring forms of neurodiversity and learning difficulties.
For each section, it introduces the topic and gives a brief definition and explanation, before sharing information on what teachers should look for in pupils, and routes for identification.
Some of the learning difficulties included are:
- dyslexia
- dyspraxia
- dyscalculia
- autism
- ADHD
The resource also includes quotes from young people about the different conditions, and shares links to other organisations and opportunities for CPD.
