An anti-bullying policy statement template from the NSPCC.
Every school or college should have an anti-bullying policy statement which sets out the organisation’s commitment to preventing and responding to bullying.
This anti-bullying policy statement from the NSPCC provides a template that settings can use to tailor their own statement. The purpose of this statement is:
- to prevent bullying from happening between children and young people
- to make sure bullying is stopped as soon as possible
- to ensure that those involved receive the support they need
- to provide relevant information to all staff, volunteers, children and their families.
The resource also including some examples of supporting documents you may need to put in place, as well as links to summaries of legislation and policies in this area.
