Implementing the whole school approach: audit tool and action plan

An auditing tool for education settings to assess their progress towards developing a whole school or college approach.

This auditing tool allows settings to rate their progress towards a whole school or college approach to mental health and wellbeing.

In a series of questions relating to the 8 principles of a whole school approach, users are asked to reflect on their setting and outline actions that can be taken to further their progress.

It provides good practice examples for all of the principles to help embed the whole school approach across the school or college setting.

Mental health leads could adapt the audit to meet the specific needs of the whole school community, including staff, parents and carers, and children.
