About this resource

This series of short videos from the UCL Institute of Education explores how schools can actively create cultures where children feel they belong and matter.

Drawing on staff and pupil voice, the four videos explore the themes of belonging, agency, place and space, and unlocking possibilities. They show how opportunities for expression can strengthen connection and influence how young people see their place within school and wider society.

This is a thoughtful and accessible resource to support inclusive whole-school practice.
