Whole-school approach audit tool
Use this auditing tool to assess your setting’s progress towards developing a whole-school or college approach.
This audit tool aims to help schools and colleges to work towards developing a Whole School or College Approach to mental health and wellbeing.
It provides a series of questions relating to each of the Department for Education’s 8 Principles and asks the user to score their progress on a scale from ‘not in place’ to ‘fully embedded’.
The audit tool uses the answers given by the user to generate a jargon-free and accessible report. This would offer a good starting point for mental health leads and senior leaders to consider what they may need to implement to fully embed each principle.
This tool also contains helpful signposting to additional resources and training for further information and support.
