This video and accompanying factsheet helps school staff to build an understanding of eating disorders. 

It explains the potential causes and first signs of an eating disorder, and describes the most common types of eating disorders.

There is also advice on when staff should seek help if they suspect a student may be suffering from an eating disorder.

There are a number of additional resources included as well as signposting to specialist organisations and advice for parents and carers.
